Fatehpur. In Fatehpur district of Uttar Pradesh on Monday night, a speeding uncontrolled motorcycle collided with the concrete platform of a transformer kept on the roadside, due to which three youths riding the motorcycle were seriously injured. All three were admitted to the Community Health Center, Bindki, where the doctor present declared 02 dead. While one was referred to Kanpur in critical condition.
Three motorcycle-riding friends, Amit Kumar (22), son of Gopichand, resident of village Bakalpur, district Etah, and Shivam Kanojia (24), son of Late, who had come to the wedding of a friend’s sister near Khajuha town of Bindki Kotwali area. Ramkishan Kanojia, resident of Amauli town, Chandpur police station, Fatehpur district and Puneet Tiwari (23), son of Sujit Tiwari, resident of Haraiya police station, Pihani district, Hardoi, were seriously injured. On receiving information about the incident, police reached the spot and admitted everyone to Bindki Community Health Center by ambulance. The doctor declared Amit Kumar and Shivam Kanojia dead at the Community Health Center. Whereas seriously injured Puneet Tiwari was referred to Hallett Hospital, Kanpur after first aid.
Kotwali in-charge Hemant Kumar Mishra said that the three people riding the motorcycle were receiving training as X-ray technicians at Hallett Hospital, Kanpur. Arpit Kumar, son of Bakshraj, resident of Jaddupur, had come to a guest house in Faridpur Mode of Bindki town on Sunday night to attend the wedding of the sister of Basant Kheda. After the wedding ceremony, they were going back towards Bakewar when the uncontrolled bike collided with a concrete platform of the transformer on the roadside in Khajuha town, which led to an accident. The bodies of both the deceased youths have been sent for post-mortem and necessary action is being taken in advance.
