Those rumours only grew stronger over the past two days, eventually culminating in confirmation of the wedding.

According to a report by HT City, the ceremony was held at the Linga Bhairavi temple located inside Coimbatore’s Isha Foundation. The wedding is said to have taken place at dawn on Monday (December 1) in an intimate setting, with nearly 30 guests in attendance. Online chatter also claimed that Samantha wore a striking red saree for the occasion, although no official photographs or videos have surfaced yet.

Speculation around the duo’s relationship had already taken centre stage earlier in the week. Rumours of Samantha and Raj Nidimoru dating had been actively discussed, especially after Raj’s former wife, Shyamalee Dey, shared a cryptic message on Instagram. Her post, “Only people who are truly broken inside do such things,” was widely interpreted as a reaction to the wedding buzz. The timing of the message strengthened the belief that there might be some truth to the reports.

Raj Nidimoru, known for his acclaimed body of work as a director, screenwriter and producer, studied at Sri Venkateswara University Engineering College in Tirupati. He gained recognition through several successful projects created as part of the popular duo Raj & DK. His marriage to Shyamalee Dey, which began early in his career, ended in divorce in 2022.

Samantha’s journey, meanwhile, has been well chronicled in the South Indian film industry. Her debut in Ye Maaya Chesave not only established her as a leading actress but also introduced her to co-star Naga Chaitanya, whom she married in 2017. Their grand wedding, performed under both Hindu and Christian traditions, became a nationwide talking point. Yet, their relationship came to an end in 2021, when the couple announced their separation by mutual agreement.
