Our Little Secret is a 2024 Netflix film with a runtime of 1 hour and 41 minutes. Directed by Stephen Herek, it falls into the genre of romance and comedy.
Starring Lindsay Lohan as Avery and Ian Harding as Logan as the lead characters, the plot is simple yet engaging.
Just as Logan is about to propose to Avery, she turns him down. Avery moves on and starts dating another guy. She is shocked to see Logan at her boyfriend’s house. Logan is apparently dating his sister. Logan and Avery are forced to spend their Christmas under one roof after discovering that their current partners are siblings.
The film is a great, Hallmark-style Christmas romance. There are quite a funny moments in the film. For instance, when Logan eats a dozen cookies and then blames it on the dog. It sends the audience into peals of laughter.
The chemistry between Logan and Avery is striking. The love that sprouts between them excites the reader.
The scene at the church where Logan accidentally gulps marijuana, thinking them to be gummy bears, is comical. Though Avery manages to save the ceremony, the chaos that unfolds is hilarious.
Avery wants to impress Erica, her boyfriend’s mom. She takes help from Logan to win Erica’s approval and, in turn, helps Logan with his construction proposal.
Logan is crazy about Avery, and that speaks in his every word and gesture.
Though the plot is predictable, the film is a pleasure to watch. It is light-hearted, entertaining, and enjoyable.
The visuals are great and the soundtrack addictive.
On the whole, the cinematography of the film is fantastic.
To conclude, the film should be on your bucket list. It is a good watch and an escape from the harsh reality of life. The plot, despite being expected, keeps the audience glued to the screen. A nice, pleasant, and fulfilling romcom, Our Little Secret is a. joy to watch.
