New Delhi: Tension between Pakistan and Afghanistan is at its peak. Meanwhile, Taliban Deputy Prime Minister Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar gave an open warning to Pakistan, calling it a cowardly enemy. Baradar said that Afghanistan has instructed its Defense Ministry to develop such advanced technological weapons that will give sleepless nights to neighboring countries and the world.

Warning to Pakistan: Mullah Baradar clearly warned Pakistan not to weaken the territorial integrity of Afghanistan. He said that the consequences of Pakistan attacking innocent women, children and civilians would be serious. Baradar also warned that the memory of the Taliban is strong and Afghanistan itself will hold the attackers to account. He said that Afghanistan wants good relations with all countries, but if anyone attacks, its response will be strong and decisive.

This tension between Pakistan and Afghanistan has been increasing for the last few months. Pakistan had attacked Afghanistan over matters to TTP (Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan). In response, Afghanistan also took action, due to which there is a continuous situation of conflict and tension between the two countries.

Know who is Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar?

Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar is one of the co-founders and key commanders of the Taliban. He is considered a trusted commander of Mullah Omar. Baradar was born in 1968 in Dehradun district of Uruzgan province of Afghanistan. He belongs to the Popalzai branch of the Durrani tribe, which is also the tribe of former President Hamid Karzai. Baradar fought with the Afghan Mujahideen against the Soviet Union in the 1980s. After the civil war broke out in Afghanistan in 1992, he established a madrassa in Kandahar with Mullah Omar and laid the foundation of the Taliban movement.

Military and strategic experience

Baradar played important responsibilities in almost all major wars in Afghanistan. They served as top commanders of the Taliban’s structure in the western region and Kabul. In addition, he played a key role in the Taliban’s military and strategic plans and took active participation in several wars in Afghanistan.

Home and personal life

Baradar married the sister of Mulla Omar. He distinguished himself as a military strategist and commander in the Taliban. He was arrested by security forces in Karachi city of Pakistan in 2010 and released in 2018. Presently he is playing a decisive role in the political and military policies of Taliban.
