On the other hand, the health of former Prime Minister of Bangladesh and President of Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) Khaleda Zia still remains critical. A senior leader of her party said that there has been no change in the health condition of 80-year-old Zia.
Let us tell you that Khaleda Zia was admitted to a private hospital on 23 November. He had a chest infection, which affected his heart and lungs. Four days later, he was shifted to the Coronary Care Unit (CCU) as his multiple health problems worsened.

BNP senior joint general secretary Ruhul Kabir Rizvi said on Sunday that doctors have said that his condition has not worsened, but there has not been much improvement either. He said that till now no advice has been received to send Jiah abroad for treatment. BNP General Secretary Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir said on Saturday that doctors had said that he may need treatment abroad, but at present his physical condition is not suitable for traveling abroad.
