Harley-Davidson, in collaboration with Hero MotoCorp, has unveiled the new X440T ahead of its official market debut. The motorcycle is set to launch this coming weekend. Part of the X440 lineup, the X440T carries forward several components and mechanical elements from its sibling models, while featuring a few distinct updates.

From the outset, the X440T sets itself apart with a redesigned rear section featuring a longer, sleeker tail cowl. Harley has updated the seat, and the pillion now gets chunkier grab handles. The tail section is visibly longer, and the rear fender has been revised as well.
Harley-Davidson is offering the X440T in four colours. The motorcycle also gets new ‘Harley-Davidson X440T’ graphics along with chequered-flag-style elements on the side panels. While the front fascia remains largely familiar, the X440T gains a few fresh touches such as bar-end mirrors and black-painted front fenders.
Beneath the refreshed styling, the motorcycle stays largely true to the original X440 in terms of hardware. It continues with the same 440 cc, single-cylinder, air-oil-cooled engine paired with a 6-speed gearbox and a slip-and-assist clutch. In the X440, this unit produces 27 hp and 38 Nm, though the X440T may get a revised tune to suit its character.
The trellis frame design remains unchanged, and the suspension setup — 43 mm USD front forks and 7-step preload-adjustable twin rear shocks — is expected to be retained.
In terms of features, the X440T is likely to carry over the same 3.5-inch circular TFT display with smartphone connectivity and navigation. A key upgrade could be the inclusion of ride-by-wire technology, along with multiple ride modes and traction control. Dual-channel ABS will continue to be offered as standard.

Harley-Davidson X440T: Check likely price
Harley-Davidson and Hero MotoCorp co-developed the 440 platform for India and select global markets. The H-D X440, launched in 2023, was priced from Rs 2.39 lakh (ex-showroom). With its cosmetic updates and minor mechanical tweaks, the new X440T is expected to start at around Rs 2.50 lakh (ex-showroom), according to media reports.
