MLA of Fazilka assembly constituency on the historic occasion of Constitution Day Narinder Pal Singh Savana has given a big and much awaited gift to the students of border areas. MLA Savanna told the government M.R. College Fazilka In MA courses Formally launched, which is a step to open new doors of higher education for the youth here.
For many years, students of Fazilka and surrounding rural areas were forced to go to far-flung cities to pursue MA studies. This led to financial burden, wastage of time and many other problems. But now M.R. This problem will end with the starting of MA course in the college.
MLA Savana said on this occasion that this has been possible Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann And Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains Because of his visionary thinking and education reforms. He said that the Punjab government is continuously strengthening the education infrastructure in the border areas, so that no student has to go out for studies.
There was a years-old demand of local students regarding MA course, which has been fulfilled by the present government. Enthusiasm was seen among the students since the beginning of the MA course. He described it as a “very important and historic decision of the Punjab government”.
Many students said that now they will be able to get higher education by staying in their own district. This will make their career path easier and will also reduce the financial burden on their parents.
MLA Savanna told that at present the beginning has been made with MA courses, but in the coming time more courses will be added in the college. He said clearly:
“Our aim is to make M.R. College the premier education center of the border area. Many new courses will be added in the coming days, so that students will not have to go out for any reason.”
On this occasion, he also distributed roll numbers to the students taking admission in MA.
Before the program, MLA Savna Constitution maker Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Offered flowers on the portrait and remembered his contribution. He appealed to the students to make Baba Saheb’s ideas—equality, education and rights—a part of their lives.
