New-gen Kia Seltos: In the world of new cars, there are some models whose entire market landscape changes with each update. The Kia Seltos is one of them. Its new incarnation, the New Gen Kia Seltos, is set to launch on December 10, 2025, and ahead of that, the company has released its first official teaser. This teaser makes it clear that this time the Seltos will not only receive cosmetic updates, but will also feature a completely new philosophy both inside and out.

Bold Front Look

Let me tell you that upon seeing the front design of New Seltos in the teaser, it is understood that Kia has given a glimpse of its global flagship SUV Telluride. The front now looks more upright and muscular than before. The grill has been given a completely new identity and is much more prominent than before. The C-shaped LED headlamps provided with it and the outward DRLs give a new character to both its lighting and style.

Also Kia’s corporate badging in Bonnet’s center gives it the perfect feeling of a premium SUV. Seeing the dark body color shown in the teaser, it looks like it may be part of the top-spec X Line trim, which has always given Seltos a rugged and exclusive look.

Dual-Tone Body Shades

In some teaser clips, this SUV has appeared in dual-tone black and pale blue shades, which seems extremely fresh and modern. Going backwards is the first look at C-shape styled LED tail lamps, which are connected to a full-length light bar. This look is brand new and will give the car a different identity at night.

The sculpted lines on the mirrors and bonnet show the muscle power of the SUV more quickly. Roof rails, shark fin antennae and dual-pane sunroof also appear clean in teasers, which guarantee that the new Seltos will be offered as a premium lifestyle SUV. Rear Profile

Both front and rear bumpers of the new Kia Seltos have been updated. This change in design will cause the SUV’s road presence to be more bold than before. Kia is also going to introduce new color options this time, which will give the buyers even more variety.

Apart from this the design of Alloy wheels has also been changed and the new alloys now look more dynamic and aggressive. The car’s portions are also expected to undergo mild changes, which can improve both cabin space and stability.

Talking about the interior, the New Gen Seltos is going to change as much from inside as from outside. Kia is using more premium materials this time so that the car feels upscale as soon as you sit in it. The dashboard will be given a wider and modern look so that the cabin looks more airy and future-ready.

The biggest change would be the addition of a large touchscreen, which would look seamlessly integrated with a digital instrument cluster in a single glass panel. This screen setup will play a big role in making the car tech-rich and modern. Kia infotainment is also about to update the interface of the system so that the user experience is better and the system feels more smooth.

Engines

Kia doesn’t seem to be planning any major mechanical changes, as the Seltos’ engines are already reliable and performance-oriented. The three existing engines—a 1.5-liter petrol, a 1.5-liter turbo petrol, and a 1.5-liter diesel will continue to be offered in India. These engines are likely to be available with both manual and automatic gearboxes.
