Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari reviewed the progress of DPR of tourism projects, directed to complete the work at a fast pace.

Deputy Chief Minister and Tourism Minister of Rajasthan Diya Kumari ji On Monday, by holding a high level meeting of departmental officers at Tourism Bhawan, Jaipur, important tourism projects of the state- Maharana Pratap Circuit And Ajmer-Pushkar Brahma Temple Project —In-depth review of DPR (Detailed Project Report) progress.

In this meeting, senior officials of the department presented a detailed report of the current status, preparations, budget, survey work, infrastructure development and upcoming phases to both the projects.

During the meeting, Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari said that the history, culture and spiritual heritage of Rajasthan has been the center of attraction across the world. He said-

“Maharana Pratap Circuit and Ajmer-Pushkar Brahma Temple Project are very important projects giving a new direction to tourism. It is very important to complete them on time and with high quality.”

He also directed the officials to give top priority to the requirements of modern tourism, facilities and safety of passengers while preparing DPRs of the projects.

Proposed by Rajasthan Government Maharana Pratap Circuit It is a big project to bring courage, self-respect and glorious heritage of Mewar to the world.

Through this circuit, historical places of Mewar region—

  • Haldighati,

  • Kumbhalgarh,

  • Gogunda,

  • chavand,

  • Udaipur,

There is a plan to strengthen the tourism infrastructure of places like.

Development works, tourist facilities, access roads and digital promotion plans of these places were also discussed in the meeting.

The Deputy Chief Minister directed the officials to-

“Each place to the heroic tales of Maharana Pratap should be developed in such a way that tourists can feel the history and new dimensions of experiences are established.”

Ajmer-Pushkar region is a major spiritual tourism center of Rajasthan. world famous Brahma TemplePushkar Lake and the historical places of Ajmer are the major attractions for the travelers coming from India and abroad.

The concerned officer told in the meeting that-

  • Redevelopment of Brahma temple area,

  • parking facilities,

  • provision of electric vehicles,

  • Tourist Information Centre,

  • Beautification of ghats,

  • Infrastructure in line with religious traditions,

Such works have been included in the DPR.

Deputy Chief Minister said-

“Ajmer-Pushkar region is extremely important from spiritual, cultural and tourism point of view. Through this project, new opportunities for spiritual tourism will open in Rajasthan.”

Diya Kumari particularly emphasized that the development of tourism sector is directly linked to employment generation. With the completion of these projects—

  • Employment to local youth,

  • Promotion of hotel, travel and handicraft industries,

  • New economic opportunities for women,

  • Increase in state income,

Like many positive results will be obtained.

He said-

“Tourism gives a new direction not only to the economy but also to the society and culture. Therefore, quality, transparency and timeliness are extremely important.”

The Deputy Chief Minister discussed in detail the reports presented by the officials and gave clear instructions that—

  • All work should be completed within the stipulated time limit,

  • Field visits and ground surveys should be expedited,

  • The budget should be used in a transparent manner,

  • Tourist facilities should be given international level quality,

  • Local culture and traditions should be preserved.

He said that the progress of the projects will be regularly reviewed and any kind of negligence will not be tolerated.

At the end of the meeting, Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari said-

“Rajasthan is known for its bravery, culture and spirituality. Through these projects, we are taking a step forward towards making the state the world capital of tourism.”
