India will face Sri Lanka in the Super Four match in Asia Cup Cricket today in Dubai. Meanwhile, Pakistan has reached the final of Asia Cup Cricket. Pakistan defeated Bangladesh by eleven runs yesterday in the Super Four match in Dubai. Pakistan will face India in the final on Sunday. For the first time in 17 editions of the Asia Cup, India and Pakistan will face each other in the final.
The final match of the Super-4 round will be played in the Asia Cup T20 cricket tournament on Friday. The result of this match between India and Sri Lanka will not affect the future of either team because the Indian team under the leadership of Suryakumar Yadav has confirmed its entry into the final, while on the other hand, the Sri Lankan team is already out of the tournament. Thus, India will have a chance to pose a threat in this match and include a player who has not played till now. The match will start at 8.00 pm Indian time.
By winning the match against Bangladesh on Wednesday, the Indian team had entered the finals but at the same time the Sri Lankan team was thrown out because in the Super-4, the Sri Lankan team had lost both its matches (against Bangladesh and Pakistan). Thus, Friday’s match was becoming formal for both the teams.
India can try the Ramela player in this match and can especially give a chance to Jitesh Sharma to test his aggressive batting. Meanwhile, the Pakistani team is scheduled to play against Bangladesh on Thursday, so all the possibilities have arisen for the final match to be played between India and Pakistan on Sunday.
Looking at the way the players are playing in the batting order of the Indian team, all the batsmen except Sanju Samson are set. However, India’s concern is not its batting or bowling but its fielding. India has lost ten catches in this tournament, out of which five were lost in the match against Bangladesh on Wednesday.
