Sports: A good news has come for Indian cricket team’s leading all-rounder Hardik Pandya. After a long injury layoff, Hardik has successfully completed his rehabilitation and is now ready for the T20 series against South Africa. He completed an intensive rehab and return to play protocol at the Center of Excellence (COE) of the National Cricket Academy (NCA) from 21 October to 30 November.

Hardik Pandya allowed to play T-20 format

COE has formally given permission to Hardik Pandya to play in T-20 format. It is important that he has also received clearance to bowl. For this reason, Hardik’s chances of returning to the Indian team in the upcoming T-20 series have become quite strong. However, a final check on his fitness and stamina will be conducted before playing in international matches.

BCCI will keep a close watch

For this, Hardik will have to play at least two matches in Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy (SMAT). Their first match will be held against Punjab tomorrow (likely on December 2) and the second match will be held on December 4 against Gujarat. BCCI will keep a close eye on his performance and physical reaction during these matches.

Big responsibility for Pragyan Ojha

National selector Pragyan Ojha has been given the responsibility to monitor Hardik’s progress and his fitness. He will evaluate Hardik’s performance and fitness in these home matches. His evaluation will play an important role in the selection process of the Indian team. This is a big relief for the fans and the team, because Hardik Pandya has the ability to maintain balance in the team with both ball and bat. His return will add strength to the Indian team and will prove to be a big positive ahead of the South Africa series.

5 match T-20 series will be played

You should be aware that after the two Test and three ODI series, a 5 match T-20 series will also be played between India and South Africa. India had to face a shameful defeat in the Test series, whereas India won the first match of the ODI series. There are still two matches left in the ODI series, after which a T-20 series will be organized between the two teams.
