If you have a device like iPhone, iPad, MacBook, Apple TV or Apple Vision Pro, then this news is very important for you. CERT-In (Indian Computer Emergency Response Team), an organization under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology of the Government of India, has issued a high-severity security alert for Apple users.

What is said in the warning of CERT-In?
CERT-In advisory CIVN-2025-0071 states that several Apple software versions contain serious security vulnerabilities. By exploiting these vulnerabilities, cyber criminals can access sensitive data, perform arbitrary coding on the system, bypass security protections, take over system rights, tamper with data and completely disable the device and they can also conduct spoofing or denial-of-service (DoS) attacks.
Which devices are most at risk?
If you are using an older version of iOS, macOS, iPadOS, Safari browser, tvOS, visionOS or Xcode, you are most at risk.
iPhone
i pad

How big are these threats?
According to CERT-In, the severity level of these security flaws is very high. If not updated timely, hackers can gain complete control of your device or access your personal and financial data without your knowledge.
