Batting in 7 matches played in the tournament, he scored 376 runs with 19 sixes and 32 fours. He scored these runs at an average of 94, which included 4 half-centuries. His best score in the tournament was 87 runs.

Like his idol Yuvraj Singh, Prashant Veer, who played wearing the number 12 jersey, not only delivered powerful blows with the bat, apart from this, he also defeated his opponents with the ball, the proof of which is his 18 wickets taken in 7 matches. Got injured while trying to take a catch, got 7 stitches

Prashant Veer, who won the Player of the Tournament for UP by performing well in the Under 23 State A Trophy, is the same player who had 7 stitches on his face a few months ago. He narrowly missed his eye while taking a catch in a match played at Major Dhyanchand Stadium in Delhi. Prashant Veer told in an interview that while taking the catch, he collided with his teammate, due to which he got injured and he was given 7 stitches.

Due to that injury, Prashant Veer had to stay away from cricket for a few days. But, by showing his brilliance with ball and bat in the Under 23 State A Trophy tournament, he has shown that that injury had no effect on him. And, he is in tremendous form.
