The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a Winter Weather Advisory from 3 AM to 1 PM Tuesday for parts of north-central and northern Maryland and the West Virginia panhandle.

Forecasters warn of slippery, hazardous travel conditions, especially during the morning commute, which could also affect school schedules. By Tuesday afternoon, the region will turn cold and blustery as rain persists.
