With‍‍‍‍‍‍ Bigg Boss 19 approaching the grand finale, people are talking more and more, but particularly about one of the contestants, Gaurav Khanna. The main reason for this surge in discussions is his addressing of a rather sensitive issue related to his wife, the actress Akanksha Chamola. When Gaurav Khanna spoke to the press inside the house, he was asked if he thought and planned that talking about his wife not giving children would be a move to grab the emotional support of the viewers.

Gaurav Khanna Opens Up About Wife’s No Child Choice

During the interaction with fans, one of them alleged that the statements made by Gaurav regarding the Akanksha’s decision sounded strategic, and making the viewers sympathize with him. Contradicting the accusation, Gaurav Khanna made it clear that he was honest and truthful and there was not even a bit of strategy in it. More than anything, he said to the reporters that he never intended to influence the public and that sharing his own experience was the only thing he did.

He also confessed that kids were definitely in his mind but still he put his wife’s comfort and wishes above his own. He broke it down into very simple terms, saying that yes, he really does like children and being a dad was one of the first things he expected when he got married. But later clarified that real partnership means that you appreciate the decisions of your partner, even though sometimes they might contradict yours. To him, following Akanksha’s view meant being a good husband, not a fake sacrifice for the camera.

Gaurav defends his statement that this discussion is very close to his heart and he is not at all comfortable with it being talked about on TV in a very casual way. Prior to coming on Bigg Boss 19, Khanna had opened up about the topic in an interview. He said that he firmly believes that Akanksha is just not the type of person who is mentally ready for motherhood and that pushing a woman into such a drastic change in her life is terrible.

Bigg Boss 19 finale is set to take place on December 7, 2025.
