Batting at number three for the Shardul Thakur-led side, Sarfaraz scored runs for fun and remained unbeaten on 100 runs from just 47 balls.

The star batter smashed eight fours and seven sixes during his stay.

Sarfaraz also shared half-century partnerships with Ajinkya Rahane and Indian captain Suryakumar Yadav.

Notably, this match marked Sarfaraz's first T20 game in over two years.
