Samsung has officially unveiled its most ambitious foldable yet, the Samsung Galaxy Z trifold, marking a significant leap in the company’s foldable roadmap. The device introduces a triple-fold display mechanism, upgrading the foldable experience beyond the existing book-style and flip models. Designed for power users, creators and early adopters, the handset brings flagship-grade internals, advanced camera capabilities and an expansive display setup aimed at redefining productivity on a smartphone.
The announcement has sparked global interest, particularly regarding its availability in the US, where demand for premium foldables remains strong.
Samsung tends to align US retail availability with its broader premium device cycle, indicating that the TriFold may reach American shelves shortly after its launch in Asia. The handset will be sold through select retail channels and authorised Samsung outlets.
While Samsung has not announced official pricing, the handset will be offered in 512GB and 1TB configurations and a single Crafted Black colour variant.

The device weighs 309 grams and carries an IP48 rating, offering dust protection and resistance to freshwater immersion up to 1.5 metres for 30 minutes.
The handset runs on a 5,600mAh three-cell battery with 45W fast charging, capable of reaching 50% in about 30 minutes. It also supports 15W wireless charging and Wireless PowerShare, enabling it to reverse-charge accessories.
The TriFold includes dual 10MP front cameras, one positioned on the cover display and another inside on the main screen.
Software support includes OneUI 8 based on Android 16, enhanced by Samsung Knox security features, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, and next-gen connectivity options such as 5G, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4 and USB-C.
