Man rushed to hospital as 'two loud bangs' heard - police descend on quiet area

A man has been reportedly shot in the leg and shoulder in the Marsh area of Huddersfield. Cops raced to Smiths Avenue in the Marsh area of Huddersfield at 8.01pm last night, December 1, after receiving reports a man had been shot.
The man, in his 30s, was found on New Hey Road and was taken to hospital with injuries which are described as serious but not life-threatening. The force is treating the incident as a targeted attack are urging those who witnessed the events surrounding the firearms discharge to urgently make contact.
