The Uttar Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (UPMSP) has released the list of centers for the High School and Intermediate Board Exams 2026. According to details shared by the board, a total of 7,448 centers have been designated for the examinations across the state. It should be noted that this is a decrease from the previous year's list. In 2025, the exam was conducted at a total of 7,448 centers, while in 2024, it was conducted at 8,265 centers.
Opportunity to file objections until December 4th
According to a notification issued by the UPMSP, if any student, parent, teacher, or anyone with a complaint or issue regarding an examination center can file an objection online in the prescribed format on the portal school.upmsp.edu.in by December 4th, 2025. If the complaint is found to be valid, action will be taken on it. The final center list will be released online on December 11th.
Board exams are scheduled from February 18th to March 12th.
According to the timetable released by the UP Board, board exams for both 10th and 12th grades will be conducted by February 18th, 2026. Over 5.2 million students will participate. 2,750,945 students are registered for high school, of which 1,438,683 are boys, and 1,312,263 are girls. Furthermore, 2,479,352 students have registered for 12th grade, of which 1,303,012 are boys, and 1,176,340 are girls.
Board exams will be conducted in two shifts.
The Uttar Pradesh Board will conduct board exams for 10th and 12th grades in two shifts. The first shift will be from 8:30 a.m. to 11:45 a.m., and the second shift will be from 2:00 p.m. to 5:15 p.m.
When will the practical exams be completed?
The UP Board is expected to conduct practical/assessment tests for both classes in January or early February. All students must participate in the practical exams; absence will result in disqualification.
