Moradabad. On Tuesday afternoon, the District Hospital complex located at Civil Lines suddenly echoed with enthusiastic slogans. Hundreds of employees of health department, pharmacy, education department and many other government organizations came together on the road. Everyone had two big demands – “Immediately restore the old pension” and “Immediately cancel the FIR lodged against the leaders of 25 November Delhi Movement”. The employees gave a clear warning – if their demands are not met, the entire Uttar Pradesh will come out on the streets!

When and where did the demonstration take place?

The protest started at around 2:30 pm on Tuesday (2 December 2025) in the Civil Lines District Hospital premises of Moradabad. The employees were holding banners and posters in their hands and raising slogans loudly. The entire road echoed with slogans of “Inquilab Zindabad… Restore old pension… Take back FIR”.

Who all attended?

  • Pharmacist of Health Department
  • nursing staff
  • teacher of education department
  • Employees of other government departments, Pharmacy Council President Sandeep Bhadaula and pharmacist leader Hemant Chaudhary in Moradabad took the lead. Belma Victor, divisional president of the Nurses Union, was also with her in full force.

What happened and why did the employees get angry?

The basic reason is the nationwide movement that took place at Jantar Mantar in Delhi on 25 November. On that day lakhs of employees and teachers had arrived peacefully demanding restoration of old pension. But after the movement, the government sued the national leadership and three national presidents. The anger of the employees is at its peak. He says – “We are demanding our rights within the framework of the Constitution, we have been made criminals. This Hitlerism will not last!”

How will the movement grow?

Employees have given open warning:

  • If the FIR is not withdrawn and the old pension is not restored then the movement will be many times bigger.
  • There will be a huge rally in Lucknow and Delhi soon
  • The entire health staff and teachers will take to the streets together
  • Protests are taking place in every district of Uttar Pradesh today (2 December)

Hemant Chaudhary said, “The government has tried to suppress our voice, but we are not afraid. The next movement will be so big that the government will have to bow down.”

Belma Victor of the Nurses Union said, “An attempt is being made to break the strength of democracy. We are with our leaders at all costs. If the demands are not met, the entire health department will be closed.”
