Increase in the Number of Posts Due to the Preliminary Result
The UPPSC has increased the number of posts before the release of the Preliminary Result. According to the earlier notification, 200 posts were initially proposed for recruitment through this recruitment, but now the Commission will increase this to 920 posts. As a result, 11,787 candidates have been shortlisted for the Main Exam in the Preliminary Exam.

Successful candidates will be eligible to participate in the main exam.
With the release of the preliminary results, the UPPSC has released the cutoff marks by category. Only those candidates who meet the cutoff marks will be considered qualified for the next stage of recruitment, the main exam. After the main exam, candidates will have to participate in a final round of interviews, after which the final merit list will be prepared. Candidates who make it to the final list will be offered appointments to the vacant positions.
