Cabinet meeting chaired by the Chief Minister
UP cabinet meeting: An important cabinet meeting was held on Tuesday under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. A total of 21 proposals were presented in this meeting, out of which 20 were agreed upon. Cabinet Minister Suresh Khanna shared information about these proposals after the meeting. In this meeting, new rules were approved to strengthen the tourism sector, and the construction of a temple museum in Ayodhya has also been given the green signal.

Kanpur Drinking Water Project: Approval was given for expansion of drinking water pipeline in Kanpur city at a cost of Rs 316.78 crore under Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation-2.0 (AMRUT-2.0).
Repair of Ghaghra Bridge: It was decided to work for the permanent safety of the damaged portion of the Ghaghra Bridge located on the Gorakhpur Link Expressway.
Amendments to Jail Manual: Uttar Pradesh Jail Manual 2022 will be amended, so that no prisoner can be discriminated against on the basis of caste.
Repeal of Sugarcane Act: It was decided to repeal the Uttar Pradesh Cess Sugarcane Act, 1956.
Amendment in pollution charges: The consent fee for installation and operation of purification plants in industrial units and municipal bodies under the Water and Air Pollution Prevention and Control Acts was amended.
