Recruitment Details
According to the short notification issued by DRDO, a total of 764 vacant positions will be filled through this recruitment. Of these, 561 positions are reserved for Senior Technical Assistant B (STA B) and 203 for Technician A (Tech A).
Age Limit
The minimum age for candidates to participate in this recruitment is 18 years, and the maximum age is 28 years. Those from reserved categories will receive full age relaxation as per the rules. Details of educational qualifications by position will be shared upon the release of the detailed notification.
Application Process and Fees
To participate in this recruitment, candidates can complete the application process online only by visiting the official website drdo.gov.in. Forms will not be accepted through any other means. An application fee of ₹100 (as per last year) must be submitted along with the application. Candidates belonging to SC, ST, and disabled categories can fill out the form free of charge.
Selection Process
To be selected for a position in this recruitment, candidates must first participate in a Tier-1 computer-based examination. Candidates who achieve the required cutoff marks in this exam will then participate in Tier-2 (Skill Test/Trade Test). A merit list will be prepared based on all stages.
