Oriental Insurance Company Limited has opened the online registration process for the position of Administrative Officer. This is a golden opportunity for candidates interested in working as Administrative Officers at OICL. OICL will recruit a total of 300 Administrative Officer positions, including 285 Generalist positions and 15 Hindi Official Language Officer positions. The application process for these positions began yesterday, December 1st. Candidates can apply for Administrative Officer positions until December 15th.

Eligibility Criteria
To apply for the Generalist position, candidates must have completed a bachelor's or master's degree with 60 percent marks from a recognized institution in India.

To apply for the Hindi Official Language position, candidates must have completed a bachelor's or master's degree in Hindi or English from a recognized institution in India.

Candidates' age will be calculated as of January 30, 2025. The minimum age limit for candidates is 21 years, and the maximum age limit is 30 years.

Age relaxation will also be provided to candidates from special categories. SC and ST candidates will be given a 5-year relaxation, OBC candidates will be given a 3-year relaxation, and candidates with disabilities will be given a 10-year relaxation.

How will the selection be conducted?
Candidates will be selected based on a preliminary examination and a main examination. In the preliminary examination, candidates will be asked multiple-choice questions for 100 marks from English, Reasoning, and Quantitative Aptitude. The duration of the examination is one hour. Candidates selected in this examination will be called for the main examination. In the main examination, candidates will be asked 200 questions for 200 marks. Candidates selected in the main examination will be called for an interview.

Application Fee
To apply for these positions, all candidates will also be required to pay an application fee. The application fee for SC, ST, and disabled category candidates has been fixed at Rs 250, and for unreserved category candidates, the application fee has been fixed at Rs 1000.
