The Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission has issued an official notification for the recruitment of Special Teachers. Candidates interested in applying for Special Teacher positions in Jharkhand will soon be able to apply. This recruitment process will fill a total of 3,451 Special Teacher positions. The application process for these positions will begin on December 12, 2025. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for these positions by January 13, 2026, by visiting the official website, jssc.jharkhand.gov.in.

Age Limit
Candidates' age will be calculated as of August 1, 2025. The minimum age for applying is 21 years, and the maximum age is determined by category. The maximum age for General category candidates is 40 years, for OBC candidates 42 years, for female candidates 43 years, and for SC and ST candidates 45 years.

Required Educational Qualifications
To apply for these positions, candidates must have a D.Ed. or B.Ed. Degree from a recognized institution in India and meet other prescribed eligibility criteria.

Examination Fee
To apply for the Special Teacher positions, candidates must pay the examination fee. Candidates will have to deposit Rs 100 as examination fee, while SC and ST candidates will have to deposit Rs 50 as examination fee.
