New Delhi: The biggest problem while shopping for clothes online is that the outfit which looks perfect on the screen, will it look equally good on our body? But now this worry is about to end. Google has made its AI-powered Try-On feature live in India, so that you can try on any dress sitting at home and buy it without any hesitation.
What is Google Try-On?
Google’s new virtual try-on feature works like a digital fitting room. If you see the “Try It On” icon on the product page of any shirt, dress, pant or footwear, you can upload a photo of yourself to see how that garment will look on your body.
This AI model generates a realistic picture by understanding the deterioration of the fabric, the fit of the clothes and your body shape. This means that now the purchase decision will not be based on guesswork, but on results very close to the truth.
How does this feature work?
Find the desired cloth through Google search or shopping. If you see the “Try It On” option next to that item of clothing, tap it. After that upload your full-body photo there. Within a few seconds the AI will show you how that outfit will look on you. If you want, you can save the photo, send it to friends and get their opinion or even buy it immediately.
What benefits will you get from this feature?
Confidence in purchasing will increase. This means that now you will not have to guess whether the cloth will suit you or not. The hassle of returns will also be less. Apart from this, you will be able to check different fashion looks without buying. From now on you will not need a mall or trial room. Can try only on mobile.
What things should be kept in mind?
Always upload full-body photo only, only then the result of the outfit will be correct. There should be good lighting in the photo so that the colors and fabric look natural. AI may not represent certain fabrics or designs 100% accurately, slight variations are possible. To keep your personal photos and data safe, use only trusted platforms.
