The ISSF World Cup Final 2025 is scheduled to take place in Doha, starting Thursday, marking the conclusion of the ISSF season on December 9. This prestigious event will feature competitive shooting from December 6 to 8.

India's Shooting Squad Composition

Among the 15-member Indian shooting team are Paris Olympics medalist Manu Bhaker and world champion Samrat Rana. Manu Bhaker, a double Olympic medalist from Paris 2024, will compete in two events: the women's 10m air pistol and the 25m pistol, having qualified through her world rankings.

Samrat Rana, who recently won the world championship in the 10m men's air pistol in Cairo, has secured a spot in the team. Additionally, Suruchi Singh, who has won three gold medals in the ISSF World Cup 10m events this season, and bronze medallist Esha Singh from the World Championships are also part of the squad.

Rifle Events and Shotgun Representation

Elavenil Valarivan and Aishwary Pratap Singh Tomar will spearhead India's efforts in the rifle events, joined by Sift Kaur Samra and former world champion Rudrankksh Balasaheb Patil. Notably, Swapnil Kusale did not qualify for the ISSF World Cup Final 2025.

In the shotgun category, Zoravar Singh Sandhu will represent India, having qualified for the men's trap event after winning bronze at the World Championships earlier this year.

Qualification Criteria for the Tournament

The ISSF World Cup Final includes 10 shooters selected through a specific qualification system. The defending champion automatically qualifies, and the winners of the four World Cup stages earn additional spots. If a qualified shooter wins again, their extra spot is passed to the next eligible competitor. Furthermore, two shooters are chosen based on their World Cup rankings, while the remaining three spots are awarded to medallists from the ISSF World Championship.

The event will feature only 12 individual Olympic shooting events, encompassing four each in rifle, pistol, and shotgun disciplines, with no team events included.
