Punjab: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government MLA Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal has once again proved that serving the public is not limited to just making promises, but has to be demonstrated by working on the ground. Recently, MLA Dhaliwal has announced to build a 40 kilometer long road in the flood affected areas of his area at a cost of Rs 68 crore. This road will directly benefit the Army, BSF and the people of 70 villages and will revolutionize the connectivity of the area.

Residents of 70 villages will have ease of transportation

MLA Dhaliwal said that this road project is not only an important step in the development of infrastructure, but it will also fulfill the decades-old demand of the people. He said that this road will provide ease of transportation to the residents of 70 nearby villages, medical facilities will be available on time and economic activities will also get a boost. The most important thing is that this road will play an important role in relief and rescue operations during floods. The MLA made it clear that every possible effort will be made to complete this project and there will be no compromise on quality,

People were demanding for 70 years

Dhaliwal said in his address, “People were demanding this road for 70 years, but the previous governments never paid attention to it. Today the Aam Aadmi Party government not only listened to this demand, but has also started the work of making it come true.” He further said that the AAP government of Punjab is committed to the welfare of the common people and is making every possible effort to ensure that the benefits of development reach every person. The MLA also said that he personally monitors every development work and goes among the public and listens to their problems.

What makes MLA Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal different from other public representatives is his way of working on the ground at a personal level. He is not a leader who just sits in the office and signs files, but he himself goes out into the field and takes stock of every project. Even during flood relief operations, he has been seen visiting the affected areas, meeting people and solving their problems immediately. This approach has led to his credibility and popularity among the public.

Problems arise during floods

Local residents welcomed this announcement, saying that this is the first time that a government has paid attention to their decades-old demand. Balwinder Singh, a 65-year-old villager, said, “We have seen many governments coming and going, but no one listened to us. The AAP government not only listened to us but also started work. The MLA himself comes here and meets us and understands our problems.” Another village woman said that it used to be very difficult to reach her village during floods, but now this road will change her life.

The Aam Aadmi Party government in Punjab has given priority to development and public welfare since coming to power. Under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, the government has taken many important steps in basic sectors like education, health, roads, electricity and water. Special emphasis is being laid on the development of rural areas, which have suffered the brunt of neglect for decades. The government believes that real development is possible only when villages and small towns develop, and efforts are being made in this direction.

Many schemes will be implemented for flood control

MLA Dhaliwal also told that along with road construction, many schemes are also being implemented for flood control. He said that the government has allocated a special budget for the maintenance of rivers and canals, so that the damage in case of floods can be reduced. Apart from this, relief and rescue teams are also being strengthened and emergency services are being made more effective. The MLA said that the aim of the government is to ensure that every citizen can live a safe and prosperous life.

With this step of MLA Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal, it has become clear that Aam Aadmi Party is not limited to urban areas only, but is also giving priority to development in rural and remote areas. This Rs 68 crore road project will not only connect 70 villages but will also facilitate the movement of Army and BSF personnel, which is also important from the national security point of view. The public is hopeful that this project will be completed soon and there will be a positive change in their lives. This effort of the AAP government proves that the work which has not been done for decades is now becoming possible.
