Mumbai: After a hiatus of 10 years, the ‘Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na’ actor Imran Khan is all set to make a comeback on the big screen with Aamir Khan and Vir Das’ upcoming film ‘Happy Patel’.
A 15-second teaser at the end of the announcement video features Imran, sporting an all-new look with long tresses.
On catching Imran’s brief appearance in the trailer clip, thrilled fans captured screengrabs and started circulating on social media.
“Imran Khan back in Bollywood,” read a post on Reddit.
Reacting to the post, one fan wrote, “I’m happy he’s doing a fun film and didn’t force himself to have that typical male lead loverboy type comeback, excited for this and If it doesn’t rely heavily on stereotypes it would be a fun film.”
Another added, “Good to see he is back.”
Helmed by Vir Das, ‘Happy Patel’ is being produced by Aamir Khan.
Earlier, Aamir, Vir Das and Imran had collaborated for the 2011 film ‘Delhi Belly’.

Another wrote, “Loving the Delhi Belly reunion.”
As a fan applauded the ‘Delhi Belly’ reunion, Vir tweeted in jest, “Wait…Imran is in this movie??”
‘Happy Patel’ also stars Vir and Mona Singh in the lead roles. The film is slated to hit theatres on January 16, 2026.
Imran was last seen in the 2015 film ‘Katti Batti’. He has featured in films like ‘I Hate Luv Storys’, ‘Break Ke Baad’, ‘Mere Brother Ki Dulhan’, and ‘Once Upon A Time in Mumbai Dobaara’.
