Bollywood’s ‘He-Man’ Dharmendra passes away: Family performs last rites
4PM News Network: Famous Bollywood actor Dharmendra passed away on November 24, causing a wave of mourning in the Deol family and the entire film industry. He died at the age of 89 at his bungalow in Juhu. His sons Sunny and Bobby Deol organized his funeral peacefully and without any fanfare. During this time, the media and fans were completely kept away, due to which many fans were disappointed.
Dharmendra’s ashes immersion
According to recent information, Dharmendra’s ashes were immersed in Haridwar nine days after his death. Sunny and Bobby did the immersion privately with the entire family. The family maintained distance from the media and all the members stayed at ‘Pilibhit House Hotel Taj’, which had a private jetty. All this happened away from the eyes of the media.
Change in date of ashes immersion
Initially the date of ashes immersion was fixed for December 2, but it was postponed to December 3. Apart from the Deol family, no other family member attended the ceremony. Dharmendra’s second wife Hema Malini, daughters Isha and Ahana also stayed away from the event, which again created an atmosphere of dissatisfaction among the fans.
Health problems and death
Dharmendra was facing health problems for a long time. His condition began to deteriorate in late October and he was admitted to Breach Candy Hospital in November. However, rumors of his demise also spread in the media, which were refuted by his family. He was later sent back home, but his condition did not improve and he eventually died on 24 November.
Dharmendra’s last film
Dharmendra died a few days before his 90th birthday. His fans will see him on screen for the last time. He had completed the shooting of his last film ‘Ikkis’, which will be released on 25 December 2025. In this film, he will be seen with Amitabh Bachchan’s grandson Agastya Nanda and actor Jaideep Ahlawat.
