UPPSC Vacancy 2025: The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has released the notification for the Polytechnic Lecturer Recruitment 2025-26. Online applications are invited from eligible candidates for a total of 513 vacancies in engineering, technical, architecture, and non-engineering disciplines.
Candidates can apply from December 2, 2025, to January 2, 2026, with the application correction window open until January 9, 2026. The recruitment process will be multi-stage, including a written exam, an interview, and document verification.
What are the eligibility requirements to apply?
Engineering and Technology: Candidates for these disciplines must have a first-class BE/B.Tech/BS degree in the relevant engineering branch. If candidates are not from engineering backgrounds, they must have a first-class bachelor's and master's degree in the relevant discipline.
Non-Engineering and Architecture: For non-engineering subjects (such as Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, English, etc.), candidates must have a first-class Master's degree in the relevant subject. For Architecture, candidates must have a B.Arch. or a 4-year first-class degree in Architecture/related field.
Application Fee
The application fee is determined by the category of the candidate. Unreserved, Other Backward Classes, and Economically Weaker Section (EWS) candidates must pay ₹225. For Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates, the fee is ₹105, for Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) ₹25, and for Ex-Servicemen ₹105.
Exam Pattern and Selection Process
Selection for this recruitment will be conducted through a multi-stage process. First, candidates will have to appear for a written examination, which will consist of two papers: General Hindi and General Studies, and a subject-specific paper related to their chosen subject. The exam will have a total of 250 questions and a total score of 750. Negative marking will apply for incorrect answers.
Pay Scale
Candidates who pass the examination and interview will be appointed after document verification. Selected candidates will receive a salary at Level 9A or Level 10 as per the 7th Pay Commission, with a starting salary ranging from ₹56,100 to ₹57,700, excluding additional allowances.

After completing the registration, log in and open the application form.
Fill in your personal information, educational qualifications, and other required details correctly.
Upload a scanned passport-size photo, signature, and other required documents to the form.
Pay the application fee online according to your category.
After filling in all the information correctly and uploading the documents, submit the form.
After submitting, download and print a copy of the application for future reference.
