IIMC has opened recruitment for Teaching Associate and Professor positions, with applications open between December 15th and 26th.

The Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC) has opened excellent employment opportunities for youth across the country. The institute has released an official notification for recruitment to the positions of Teaching Associate and Professor. These positions will be filled for the New Delhi, Dhenkanal, Kottayam, Amravati, Aizawl, and Jammu campuses, and applications are currently underway.

Recruitment Opens for 5 Teaching Associate Positions

IIMC is recruiting for a total of 5 Academic cum Teaching Associate positions. These positions are for courses such as New Media, Journalism, Corporate Communication, and Brand Management. The deadline for applications is December 26, 2025.

Qualifications

Candidates must have a Master's degree (with 55% marks) in Journalism, Mass Communication, Computer Science, Management, Public Relations, Digital Media, etc. A graduation in any subject plus a PG Diploma in a related subject is also valid. UGC NET qualified candidates will be preferred. At least one year of teaching or professional experience is required. The maximum age limit is 40 years.

Vacancy for Professor Position Also Available

IIMC has also announced recruitment for one Professor position, reserved for the EWS category. This position is open to those specialising in subjects such as Mass Communication, Journalism, Advertising, Public Relations, Strategic Communication, and Media Business Studies. Salary Requirements

Selected candidates under this recruitment drive will receive a salary of ₹40,000 per month.
