Kim Kardashian has reportedly reached her limit with Meghan Markle after Kris Jenner's James Bond-themed 70th birthday extravaganza , which boasted a celebrity-packed guest list including Prince Harry and the Duchess.

The pair appeared to enjoy themselves at the festivities, which continued well into the small hours. Yet within days, photographs posted by Jenner and Kim Kardashian featuring Harry and Meghan mysteriously disappeared from social media platforms without explanation.

An insider suggests the removal of these snaps actually highlighted a deeper issue simmering beneath the surface. This development coincides with Harry making a quip at his wife Meghan's expense during his appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert - delivering what amounted to a cutting remark.

The source disclosed that Harry and Meghan became anxious their party presence might be misconstrued, especially considering Harry's current efforts to repair his relationship with King Charles III. The timing also raised alarm bells, as Kris's birthday celebrations stretched into the morning of November 9, when Britain commemorates Remembrance Day.

Meghan's failure to wear the customary poppy also attracted criticism across social media platforms. "Once Harry and Meghan left Kris, it dawned on them that they had a major PR headache on their hands."

The duo subsequently requested Kim and Kris to delete the photographs from their Instagram profiles. According to the insider, this request caused tension between Kim and Kris.

What onlookers have termed "photo-gate" reportedly triggered conflict between Kim, 45, and Meghan, 44.

"Kim's been nothing but generous and welcoming to Meghan, so this felt like a major betrayal. She's outraged," the source revealed. They disclosed that the matter centres less on public perception and more on Kim's shock at being requested to remove posts from her own social media platform, especially considering the amicable rapport Kim and Meghan had developed in recent years.

Nevertheless, the source observed, "She respects the Kardashians and admires them enormously for everything they've achieved. Kim and Kris have been extremely useful to her."

When the demand to take down the images came through, Kris and Kim obliged without issuing any public comment, though the source suggests Kim was unhappy with how events transpired. "She's never been in this position before, it's always her calling the shots in these situations. Here she was inviting them past the velvet rope and they repay her by acting like they're too good to be seen partying with her. It's a slap in the face - and one she can't let slide."

A source disclosed, "Meghan's pretty unapologetic, she says she's just networking and there's no sinister agenda going on."

In a recent interview with Harper's Bazaar, Meghan offered her viewpoint on public scrutiny, declaring, "There's no such thing as perfect. I, too, get to make mistakes."

She went on to say: "The moment that you start making all of your personal decisions based on external judgment, then you lose your authenticity."

The Express US contacted representatives for Kim, Meghan, and Harry seeking their response.

This follows reports of Meghan Markle's 'rude' behaviour towards Netflix staff which has prompted strong reactions from viewers.
