Prayagraj. A big opportunity has come to light for women looking for employment in Uttar Pradesh. State Road Transport Corporation (UPSRTC) Prayagraj Zone has announced to start the recruitment process of women conductors. For this, a special recruitment fair will be organized at Prayag Depot Workshop, Rajapur on 10th December.

Female candidates selected through the recruitment fair will be directly appointed as operators on contract basis. UPSRTC aims to connect eligible women with employment through schemes like Rural Livelihood Mission, Skill Development Mission, Scout-Guide, NCC and NSS.

Job Description and Eligibility:

Selected women conductors will get a chance to work in both ordinary and AC buses of roadways. For application, it is mandatory to have 12th pass, and also it is necessary to have Triple-C (CCC) certificate. The age of the candidate should be between 18 to 40 years. The application process can be completed both online and offline.

Honorarium and other benefits:

The women selected on these posts will get an honorarium of Rs 2.02 per kilometer. The duty of 22 days per month has been fixed by the corporation. If an operator covers a distance of 5,000 kilometers in a month, she will also be given an additional incentive of Rs 3,000. Apart from this, one will get the benefit of free bus pass, night work allowance and special incentive schemes on continuous service of four years.

application procedure:

Women candidates will be appointed as contract operators on direct contract basis. Interested candidates can apply online on UPSRTC website, while offline applications can be submitted directly at Prayag Depot Workshop, Rajapur.
