The scheme was named ‘Bihar Industrial Investment Promotion Package 2025’. Its primary objective is to attract massive investment in the state and create new employment opportunities for the youth. But this opportunity is for a limited time. To avail this scheme, investors must apply by 31 March 2026.
Who will get land as a gift for Rs 1?
Will everyone get land for Rs 1? So the answer is no. The government has established specific categories and conditions. This offer is mainly for large investors, who have in the state Employment Ability to create.
As per the rules, if a company invests Rs 100 crore and employs at least 1000 people. So she will be given 10 acres of land at a nominal price of just Rs. Moreover, if the investment reaches Rs 1,000 crore, the government will give 25 acres of land at the same nominal rate. Moreover, the rules are even more relaxed for Fortune 500 companies. They can get 10 acres of land with an investment of Rs 200 crore. There is good news for investors who do not fall into these categories. BIADA is offering other investors a huge discount of up to 50 percent on their land rates.
What else does this package include besides land?
The government is not only shirking its responsibility by providing affordable land, but is also trying to make the industry flourish. Hence a comprehensive scheme has been developed for financial assistance including land. Interest subsidy of up to 40 crores has been given to attract investors.
In addition, tax relief is being provided. which includes 100 percent SGST refund or net SGST refund up to 300 percent of the project cost. This benefit is available for full 14 years. Additionally, there is an option of capital subsidy of up to 30 percent. Investors can choose any of these options as per their business needs.

Enter your name, address and other required information. Your email address will become your User ID.
After setting the password, you can easily fill the application form.
The government has also issued a helpline number 18003456214 to help investors. Moreover, the ‘Land Bank’ section of the portal provides complete information on how much vacant land is available in each district or which industrial area would be suitable for your business. ‘Plug and Play’ shed information is also available, so you can start working immediately without the hassle of construction.
