Leadership: In a rapidly changing world, the workplace environment is also evolving. In such a scenario, even experienced leaders sometimes feel confused and worry that AI might undermine their role. Therefore, leaders have to constantly update their strategies and roadmaps. But often, making decisions becomes difficult, and the direction seems unclear. Under constant stress, the mind focuses more on threats, causing leaders to avoid experimenting and postpone many decisions.

This results in micromanagement, and the team begins to stray from its larger goals. When the vision becomes unclear, teams choose tasks that seem safe. Fear limits not only emotions but also thinking. It is precisely at such times that true leadership emerges, when a leader transforms fear into energy for progress and instills confidence in the team.

Start with Small Decisions
Instead of implementing large-scale plans all at once in uncertain times, the best strategy is to break them down into smaller steps. In each step, adopt a "learn first, then experiment" approach, meaning don't spend more time or resources on the next step without understanding the results of the first step. It is also important to consider at each step whether moving forward is beneficial in the current situation or if it would be better to pause and observe the circumstances. In this way, the plan becomes flexible and results-oriented.

Embrace AI as a Partner
Adopting AI has now become a necessity for every leader. First, identify the areas where AI can perform faster and better than humans. Clearly communicate to employees what changes AI will bring, which roles will be affected, and what kind of support they will receive. The company can also appoint an AI champion who works on safe experiments and maintains the necessary standards across all teams. Furthermore, it is essential to clearly define rules beforehand regarding data security, model selection, testing procedures, and when human oversight will be necessary in the workplace, so that AI can be used safely and effectively. Work on the Way Forward

Focusing on strategy during difficult times seems most challenging, but that's the real job of leadership. It's about rising above the daily grind and making time to think about the future. To do this, schedule dedicated "vision time" in your calendar, during which you focus solely on long-term decisions, new options, and the way forward. Don't get bogged down in minor problems. A tired mind cannot create a grand vision, so making time for reading, learning, and quiet reflection is an essential responsibility.
