An incident came to light in the PG College of Damoh on Tuesday morning which raised many questions on the examination system. During the supplementary examination, a young man was caught giving paper in place of his brother. The college administration was surprised that despite increased security and CCTV surveillance, how could someone enter like this. But the overall thing remained the same, we met each other, the opportunity seemed right and Munna Bhai entered the examination hall.

However, luck did not favor him for long. When the Botany professor reached the hall during routine inspection, he suspected that the student’s face did not match the roll number on which he was sitting. Investigation was done, identity was confirmed and the secret was revealed that it was not Bharat, it was his brother Jagdish Patel. The matter immediately reached the principal and then the police was called and the accused was sent to the police station.

How did the fraud come to light?

These days ATKT i.e. supplementary examinations are going on in Damoh PG College. Especially the MSc Botany paper was scheduled today. This time the college administration had increased the security in the examination, CCTV cameras, strict monitoring in the examination hall, frequent rounds of professors. Despite this, a young man entered to give the paper in place of his brother. The college management told that in place of the student named Bharat, his brother Jagdish had reached the examination hall. The appearance of both the brothers is quite similar, which is why he escaped detection during the initial checking.

Kept giving the exam for about an hour

Jagdish continued solving the Botany paper comfortably for about an hour. No one doubted. But during the inspection, when the Botany professor reached the examination room, he noticed some disturbance in his face. After checking the roll number and identity card, it became clear that the student giving the paper was not the real candidate.

Big game revealed in identity matching

When the professor mixed the papers, checked the roll number and then saw the face, the suspicion immediately deepened. The student giving the paper got nervous and got entangled in the questions and answers. The college staff informed this to the examination in-charge and the principal. After investigation, it was revealed that he was taking the exam in place of his brother, so that Bharat could pass the exam. It was a classic Munna Bhai style case, which the college administration immediately took seriously.

What did the college management say?

Professor Savita Jain said that we are conducting examinations daily with strict inspection. Today, if there was any doubt during the Botany exam, we immediately investigated. The student was not a real candidate. We adopt a zero tolerance policy in such cases. The management says that this is not just examination fraud, but an attack on the reputation of the college and the credibility of the examination. Therefore the matter will not be taken lightly.
