Materials:

  • Rice
  • White urad dal
  • Chickpeas
  • Fenugreek seeds
  • Turmeric
  • salt
  • water
  • Sajuk ghee
  • Coconut milk
  • jaggery
  • Nutmeg powder
  • Cardamom powder

Action:

  • To make Khaparoli, first of all, wash the rice, udi dal, chana dal, fenugreek seeds in a big bowl and soak them in water for 3 to 4 hours.
  • After that remove the water from it and grind the soaked dal into a mixer bowl without adding much water and make a fine paste.
  • Prepare a batter by adding salt, turmeric and water as per requirement to the prepared paste.
  • Add grated coconut pulp and water in a mixer bowl and grind it finely. After that, remove the coconut milk and keep it in a bowl.
  • Prepare sweetened coconut milk by adding jaggery, nutmeg and cardamom powder and a stick of saffron to coconut milk.
  • Heat a pan on gas and apply oil on it. Then add khaproli flour and fry khaproli properly on low flame from both sides.
  • Take the prepared khaproli in a plate and add the prepared sweet coconut milk on it and serve to eat.
  • Konkani flavor Khaparoli made in easy method is ready.
