Sanjeevani, a coalition of more than 16 non-governmental organizations, kicked off its state-wide initiative titled “Chitta Par Chot” (Strike Against Chitta) during a workshop on December 7, 2025. The campaign was officially launched by the Honorable Governor of Himachal Pradesh, Shri Shiv Pratap Shukla, who highlighted the necessity of promoting this initiative throughout the state to shield the youth from the dangers of drug addiction.

Actor Krushna Abhishek, who hails from Himachal Pradesh, has shown his unwavering support for the fight against Chitta (heroin). In a heartfelt video message, he expressed his solidarity with his home state, affirming his commitment to the cause of creating a drug-free environment.

Abhishek also conveyed his gratitude to Sanjeevani President Mahendra Dharmani, Captain Atul Sharma, and the dedicated team of the NGO for their tireless work. He commended the campaign as a vital measure to protect the younger generation from the clutches of substance abuse.
