Team India won the last ODI match in Visakhapatnam and captured the series against South Africa. In the last ODI match, Team India registered an easy victory by 9 wickets and thus won the series by 2-1. While the heroes of the match were Yashasvi Jaiswal, Kuldeep Yadav and Prasidh Krishna, the hero of the series was Virat Kohli. Kohli, who scored the most runs in the series, batted brilliantly in the last match also. But apart from batting, Virat also stole the show with his trolling, where Arshdeep Singh became his victim.
In the last match of the series, Team India had a target of 271 runs to win. Yashasvi Jaiswal and Rohit Sharma had done more than half the work by making an opening partnership of 155 runs. Then in scoring the remaining runs Virat Kohli Did not take much time and scored an unbeaten 65 runs to take Team India to victory. Kohli, who had scored centuries in both the previous matches, was expected to score a century in this match too but it could not happen due to the score not being very big.
Kohli's funny answer to Arshdeep's question
Kohli could not score a hat-trick of centuries, which must have been regretted by the fans present in Visakhapatnam. But because of this, fans got to see a video which they would hardly be able to forget. It so happened that after the victory of Team India, fast bowler Arshdeep Singh started making a video on his mobile, in which he asked questions about the century. Arshdeep said, “Paaji, runs were less, the century was sure today.” What Virat said on this, no one would have expected, not least Arshdeep. Kohli jokingly said, “If you had won the toss, otherwise you would have been in the dew.”
Why did Kohli give such an answer?
Kohli had this to say and both of them burst out laughing. In fact, in the last two matches of this series, Team India had lost the toss and had to bowl in the second innings. Due to this, the bowlers were getting beaten badly due to the effect of dew being visible in the evening. But in this match, Team India won the toss and chose to bowl first and hence did not have to bowl in the second innings. Kohli simply reminded Arshdeep of this and robbed the party by teasing him in fun.
