The season finale is here: the F1 title will be decided between Max Verstappen, Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri in Abu Dhabi this weekend. Qualifying has taken place for the final team this season, with some big moves at the top.
Norris laid down the early markers in FP1 and FP2, topping both sessions with Red Bull's Verstappen in second both times. Piastri sat out the first practice session with IndyCar icon Pato O'Ward completing McLaren's practice obligations for the season, and the Australian had some work to do at the end of his first track outing on Friday.
Then qualifying came around, with Verstappen taking pole, while Norris and Piastri complete the front row in what will be a tense final race. Meanwhile, Lewis Hamilton suffered a new low with Ferrari, getting knocked out in Q1 once again, despite changes to his car.
