Vikram Bhatt arrested: Rs 30 crore fraud case
Mumbai: famous bollywood directors Vikram Bhatt Has been arrested in a joint operation of Rajasthan and Mumbai Police. He is accused of defrauding a doctor from Udaipur to the tune of Rs 30 crore in the name of film projects. Now the police is preparing to take him on transit remand and send him to Udaipur for further investigation.

Just 20 days ago, the founder of Udaipur’s Indira Group of Companies Dr. Ajay Murdia Vikram Bhatt, his wife Shwetambari Bhatt And FIR was lodged against six other people. The report states that the accused duped Dr. Murdiya of huge earnings of Rs 200 crore after investing in films.
film project deal
Dr. Murdia had signed a deal with Vikram Bhatt’s company for a film project in memory of his late wife. According to the allegation, the agreement was signed for four films, out of which only two were completed and their rights were also not given to the doctor. According to some media reports, the money was wrongly spent by using fake bills.
Lookout notice and arrest
Considering the seriousness of this matter, Udaipur Police had issued a lookout notice against Vikram Bhatt and others. In this, all the accused were directed to appear before the police by December 8. After this notice it was not possible for him to leave the country without permission.
Legal action and further investigation
Vikram Bhatt has been arrested in Maharashtra, but the matter is from Rajasthan. When an accused is arrested from another state, he has to obtain permission for transit remand from the local court. Police are hopeful that further investigation will yield important revelations about the mastermind of this fraud.
