Many different types of pickles are made like curry pickle, green chilli pickle, karavand pickle, lemon pickle etc. Pickle is a storage product and lasts well throughout the year. Fresh vegetables are available in the market during cold days. Vegetables like carrot, radish, cauliflower, green chillies, peas etc. are eaten with love. Today we are sharing with you an easy recipe to make mixed vegetable pickles in the traditional way. Children always refuse to eat vegetables. Materials:
- Peas
- carrot
- flower
- salt
- sugar
- Pickle spice
- Red chillies
- jaggery
- Mustard
- Fenugreek seeds
- Turmeric
- Asafoetida
- Oil

Action:
- To make mixed vegetable pickle first, clean all the vegetables and cut them into medium size. Vegetables should not be cut too finely.
- Take water in a big bowl and swirl alum over it. Wash the vegetables in water. This will kill the virus in the vegetable.
- Pour the washed vegetables on a cotton cloth and soak the water. Take out the vegetables in a bowl and add salt, grated jaggery, red chillies, asafoetida and turmeric and mix well.
- Heat oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds, fenugreek seeds, asafoetida, turmeric to hot oil and fry fodni. Pour the roasted batter over the vegetable mixture and mix.
- Keep the prepared pickle in a glass jar. After 3 to 4 days of marinating the pickle in the spices, you can eat it with rice or chapati, bread.
- Sweet and sour pickle of mix vegetables made in simple method is ready.
