Dr. Bilal Naseer Malla of Baramulla has been arrested in the Delhi blast case.
India's investigative agencies achieved a major breakthrough on Tuesday. The National Investigation Agency (NIA) arrested the main accused in last month's Delhi bomb blast case. Dr. Bilal Naseer Malla of Baramulla was arrested in the Delhi blast case.
The case number is RC-21/2025/NIA/DLI. Naseer Malla is the eighth accused to be arrested in this case. He was arrested by the Delhi NIA team. Following his arrest, Malla was produced at Patiala House in Delhi. Following a hearing, the court remanded him to seven days' custody.
Following his remand, the NIA
will interrogate him for the next seven days. He may also be questioned about several other accused. The NIA's alleged investigation revealed that Bilal knowingly sheltered the deceased accused, Umar Un Nabi, by providing him with logistical support. He is accused of destroying terrorist evidence.
The NIA continues to investigate the conspiracy behind this deadly terrorist incident. The anti-terror agency is working closely with various central and state agencies to unravel all the links involved in the conspiracy. On November 10, an explosive device exploded in a car near Delhi's Red Fort, killing 11 people. Those affected were left in pieces.
Aamir remanded again
Accused Aamir Rashid was remanded to seven days' remand today. He was arrested at Patiala House on November 16th. Since his arrest, he was remanded to custody on two separate dates, after which he was produced again today.
