The Bombay High Court has announced a large recruitment drive for 2,381 positions, including clerks, stenographers, drivers, and peons. The application process will begin on December 15, 2025, and continue until January 5, 2026. This is a great opportunity for those seeking a job in the High Court. This time, the largest number of positions are for clerks and peons.

Of the total 2,381 positions, there are 1,382 clerks, 887 peons, 37 drivers, and 75 stenographers (lower and higher grade). These recruitments will be conducted for various districts in Maharashtra.

Eligibility criteria include graduation, computer knowledge, and typing skills for clerks and stenographers. A 10th-grade pass qualification and a valid license are required for drivers. For positions like peon and porter, a 10th-grade pass qualification is also considered.

The age limit is 18 to 38 years for the general category, while the reserved categories will be given relaxation as per rules. The selection process may include a written examination, typing test, shorthand test, driving test, or interview. This varies according to the post.

The application fee is approximately ₹100 to ₹200 for the general and OBC categories, while SC, ST, and differently-abled candidates will be exempted. Documents such as Aadhaar card, photo, educational certificate, caste certificate, driver's license, and typing or computer certificate for clerk and steno will be required for the application.

The salary for different posts in Bombay High Court is as follows: Clerk and Driver Rs. 29,200 to 92,300, Stenographer Lower Grade Rs. 49,100 to 1,55,800, Stenographer Higher Grade Rs. 56,100 to 1,77,500, while for Peon, Hamal, and Farash Rs. 16,600 to 52,500. This salary is the basic salary. Apart from this, allowances like House Rent Allowance and DA will also be given, due to which the total in-hand salary will increase a little more.
