In the ever-evolving world of Bollywood every Friday changes the destiny of a film and its actors. Dhurandhar has been creating a buzz ever since its release. This Aditya Dhar film is based on real-life events from the late 2000s and its gripping storyline and impeccable performances of actors have generated reactions from celebrities. After being critically acclaimed and loved by the audience public figures like Smriti Irani Farah Khan Akshay Kumar and now most recently Hrithik Roshan have also joined its admiration streak. Speaking about the brilliance of the film Hrithik has also expressed reservations about its political layers making his review both appreciative and thought-provoking. Hrithik Roshan reacts to Dhurandhar Sharing his thoughts through an Instagram story Hrithik praised the film’s storytelling. He wrote “I love cinema i love people who climb into a vortex and let the story take control spin them shake them until what they want is purged out of them onto the screen. Dhurandhar is an example of that. Loved the storytelling. It’s cinema (sic).” In a separate note he added his concerns about the film’s political tone saying “I may disagree with the politics of it and argue about the responsibilities us filmmakers should bear as citizens of the world. Nevertheless I can’t ignore how i loved and learnt from this one as a student of cinema. Amazing (sic)” the actor added. Before him Akshay Kumar also hailed the film. Appreciating the film he wrote: Watched Dhurandhar and Im blown away. What a gripping tale and youve simply nailed it @AdityaDharFilms. We need our stories to be told in a hard-hitting way and Im so glad the audiences are giving the film all the love it deserves (sic). About the film Dhurandhar Released on December 5 Aditya Dhar’s Dhurandhar is set in the late 2000s and draws inspiration from real events involving India’s conflict against terror operations in Pakistan. The film offers a fictionalised take on espionage and national security blending action strategy and emotional depth. Ranveer Singh plays Hamza an Indian spy tasked with infiltrating Rehman Dakait’s gang. His character goes through danger deception intelligence operations and the psychological toll of living undercover. The film also stars an ensemble cast including Akshaye Khanna R. Madhavan Arjun Rampal Sanjay Dutt Sara Arjun and Rakesh Bedi.
