Ghaziabad News: Under the Madhuban Bapudham initiative, the Ghaziabad Development Authority (GDA) has accelerated the building of the Road Over Bridge (ROB) and underpass that link Hapur Road to Meerut Road.

Ghaziabad news

GDA Vice-Chairman Nand Kishore Kalal gave authorities a deadline of five months to finish the project during a status assessment. For the last eight years, this important infrastructure project has been on hold.

Present Situation and Cooperation
The GDA, the Setu Nigam (Bridge Corporation), and the Railways have all contributed to the project’s growth.

Setu Nigam: According to officials, the Bridge Corporation has finished most of the tasks it was given.

Railways: With guarantees that the work would be completed by the new date, the Railways is working quickly on the remaining segment.

Project Details
About 600 to 751 meters in length.

Capacity: An underpass and a four-lane traffic system are part of the project.

Route: It would make it easier to drive safely through the Madhuban Bapudham township between Hapur Road and Meerut Road.

Effects and Advantages
The ROB is anticipated to greatly reduce traffic and enhance connectivity in the area once it is operational.

Decreased Travel Distance: The crowded HapurChungi neighborhood will no longer need to be traversed by commuters heading from Hapur to Meerut. By doing this, an extra 14-kilometer detour will be eliminated.

Population Benefited: More than 500,000 people who live in Madhuban Bapudham, Govindpuram, Swarna Jayanti Puram, and the neighboring regions would have better daily transportation.

Economic and Environmental Impact: Taking the direct route will result in significant time and fuel savings, as well as a reduction in the city’s general traffic congestion.
