The ACC Men’s U19 Asia Cup 2025 will be played in the UAE from December 12 to 21, with 15 ODI matches at the ICC Academy Ground and The Seven Stadium in Dubai. The event features eight teams: IndiaPakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, UAE, Malaysia and Nepal are all competing in the 50-over format.
The tournament will begin with hosts UAE U19 taking on India U19 at the ICC Academy, while Pakistan and Malaysia will begin their campaign together at The Seven Stadium, setting the tone for the group stage. With limited playing time and minimal rest days, squad depth, conditioning and strategic rotation will be crucial throughout the ten-day competition.
ACC Men’s U19 Asia Cup 2025: Format
The competition follows a simple structure: two groups of four each, with a single round-robin in each group, followed by semi-finals and a final. The top two teams from each group advance to the knockouts, where A1 faces B2 and B1 takes on A2, before the winners meet in the title clash at the ICC Academy on 21 December.
Group A comprising India, Pakistan, UAE and Malaysia is shaping up to be a high-intensity pool, with the key India-Pakistan clash taking place at the ICC Academy on December 14. Group B comprises Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Nepal, known for their strong age-group structures and spin depth, promising a tough fight for the two semi-final spots.
