In such cases, applying online is the easiest way. Most employers require you to submit a copy of your PAN card during the initial onboarding process. However, even if you haven't started earning yet, you can still apply for it, as there is no minimum age requirement.

How to apply for a PAN card online using the Income Tax portal?
Go to the Income Tax portal or click here.
Tap on the Instant e-PAN button visible in the Quick Links menu on the left side of the screen. Alternatively, click here.
Then click on the Get New e-PAN button. Enter your 12-digit Aadhaar number in the field. Then click on the checkbox to provide the necessary confirmation. Then tap on Continue.

Again, give your consent to receive an OTP on your registered phone number. Then enter the OTP.
Check your personal information, which will be auto-filled. If everything is correct, tap on Continue.
A confirmation message will now be sent to your registered phone number, along with an acknowledgment number.
Within a few minutes, your e-PAN card will be generated, which can be accessed on the Income Tax website by entering the acknowledgment number.
