Mohamed Salah surpasses legendary Premier League duo with these feats

Mohamed Salah was amongst the records after making an assist for Liverpool against Brighton in Matchweek 16 of the Premier League 2025-26 season on Saturday.

The Egyptian, who is set to leave for the Africa Cup of Nations, came on as a substitute in the 26th minute.

He assisted Hugo Ekitike in the 60th minute in Liverpool's 2-0 win.

Salah attained a double feat.

Making his 315th Premier League appearance, Salah now owns 90 assists. He has scored 190 goals.

This season, he owns 4 goals and three assists.

With this tally of 280 goal involvements, Salah steered clear of Frank Lampard, who was involved in 279 goals in the Premier League.

Only Alan Shearer (324) and Wayne Rooney (311) own more goal involvements in the Premier League.

In 302 Premier League appearances for Liverpool, former Chelsea player Salah has raced to 89 assists (G188). He owns 277 goal involvements for the Reds.

As per Opta, this is now the all-time record by a player for a single club in the competition, overtaking Rooney's 276 for Manchester United (183 goals, 93 assists).
